Born in Istanbul and raised in Frankfurt, Tuelay’s artistic identity is deeply influenced by multicultural experiences and decades of creative exploration across music, design and visual culture. Fluent in Turkish, German and English, her work moves effortlessly between languages, emotions and artistic disciplines.

Her musical journey includes collaborations and performances with internationally renowned artists and producers such as Michael Jackson, Montell Jordan, Sven Väth, J-Luv, Sidney Youngblood, DJ Bobo, Ralph Siegel and many others. From major television productions and international tours to songwriting, vocal production and independent releases, music has always remained at the core of her artistic expression.

Alongside her music, Tuelay Sanlav has developed a distinctive mixed media art practice that merges cinematic imagery, typography, emotion, fashion aesthetics and architectural atmosphere. Her works move between monochrome minimalism and expressive visual intensity — balancing silence and sensuality, darkness and color, intimacy and monumentality.
